JUST A LITTLE HELP

Like I said earlier I have worked with the designer Michael Rennick for the past 10 years. I have learned so much from him, and he has been such a great teacher. A friend called needing just a little help with her Master Bedroom. We were both happy with how it all turned out so I thought it would be nice to share on the blog!!

TRADITIONAL

Most people know and understand the traditional style. This arrangement was fun to do, but I sure felt it in my arms the next day!

SETS OF THREE

This is a job done recently for a client with a very modern style home. The art around the house is amazing, and she wanted the flowers to be modern and colorful. This is the dining table and I love to do flowers in sets of three. Remember, odd numbers create more interest!!!

I AM SERIOUS WHEN I SAY

I am serious when I say that I have been dreaming of flowers for as long as I can remember. Here are some old sketches of arrangements. When I was foot loose and fancy free (without kids) in Europe with my husband this is what I did on the train. I had no idea then that this would be the way I made my living!!!

THE RIGHT CONTAINER

All of my arrangements would be nothing without the right container. I put great effort into making sure the flowers and the containers are the perfect match. This is a wonderful southwest style home. Southwest, traditional, modern, contemporary any style I can do it!

JUST A SPLASH OF COLOR

This is an arrangement that was designed for the Parade of Homes in St. George Utah. This arrangement is great for any sofa table or low area. It just adds a nice splash of color.

"THE GARDEN STYLE"

This style of arrangement has been named by my friends as the "Garden Style". This is the style that everyone understands. Remember that all of these flowers are artificial. I want you to feel that you have just picked these flowers out of your garden. Again, it is the combination of flowers and colors that will just make you feel good inside...at least it does for me!

FOR YEARS TO COME

These are the flowers from the casket spray, rearranged for the family to enjoy for years to come.

FLOWERS CAN LAST FOREVER

This was a funeral spray that I made for my Aunt Betty. The family wanted to be able to keep some of the flowers and also give some flowers away to others that loved her. Once the funeral was over, I took all of the flowers out of the casket spray and rearranged them. This is one of the greatest acts of love and service that I can provide for my friends and family.

"KISS"

If there is one thing that I have learned over the years is how to
"KISS" - Keep It Simple Stupid!!!
An arrangement that is nice and natural will always stand the test of time.

WHO INSPIRES YOU?

The man in this photo is Michael Rennick. I have worked with him for the past 10 years. The stars aligned when we met and I am grateful for him every day of my life. He is the President of Casafina Interior Design. He has taught me so many valuable lessons. Not only in the world of design, but many life lessons that I will never forget. Michael has and always will be the greatest teacher I have ever had. To see some incredible design projects go to http://www.casafinadesign.com/

LIVE IN COLOR

I have had a great love of flowers all my life. In fact, my very first job was at "The Garden Of Joy" flower shop in St. George Utah. I was 16 years old. Of coarse, I started by sweeping the floors and doing my best to make a bow, but it was a start. Ever since then I have loved flowers, and especially the colors of the flowers. There is something very special about colors and how they make me feel. The combination of vibrate colors make me feel good deep into my core. I have been dreaming about and creating unique flower arrangement for as long as I can remember. With the following post and photos may you also enjoy something that has brought me happiness for years.
